The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a bit better than the Galaxy S6 edge+, getting a global score of 80.1 against 79.3. Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a newer device than Galaxy S6 edge+, but it's incredibly thicker and notably heavier. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1, giving lots of additional features.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a larger number of cores. Galaxy S6 edge+ has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a just a bit inferior amount of pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a little larger screen.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a way better camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor providing a lower image quality and a much tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting images in low-light situations, it also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a much better 3840x2160 video definition.
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, else you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, resigning some specifications.
