Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has an overall score of 80.1, which is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ3's 79.6 overall score. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has 8.0 Oreo version and Sony Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro's body is newer, but a lot thicker and a lot heavier than Sony Xperia XZ3.

The Xperia XZ3 features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a little bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a bit higher 1440 x 2880px resolution and a larger screen. Xperia XZ3 counts with a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro. Both have 4 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores.

Xperia XZ3 captures a lot better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way smaller camera aperture which is not so good for shooting photos and/or video in low light situations, it also counts with a way higher video quality, a camera with a way better 19 mega pixels resolution and a larger sensor.

Xperia XZ3 and Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro both count with incredibly similar memory for games and applications, both of them have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and the same 64 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features superior battery duration than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 35% bigger battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs more than Xperia XZ3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia XZ3. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Xperia XZ3, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
