Comparison review
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a general score of 80.1, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's general score of 76.4. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro body is newer, but noticeably thicker and way heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 5s.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per screen inch and a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a larger number of cores.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 5s takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a lot smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing pictures in low light situations, and they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a lot better video resolution and a larger sensor providing a higher image quality.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a really longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3200mAh.
Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy XCover FieldPro, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, letting go a couple specifications.
