Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a score of 84.2, which is a bit better than Galaxy XCover Pro's 81 overall score. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro construction is newer and somewhat thinner, but also just a little heavier than Galaxy XCover Pro. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a newer 14 version and Galaxy XCover Pro has Android 11 version, giving you lots of additional features.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a more vivid display than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a little bit worse amount of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little bigger screen. The Galaxy XCover Pro counts with a very superior performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a greater camera than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a way bigger camera sensor which offers a lot higher image and video quality, a much better resolution back-facing camera and a way better video definition.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy XCover Pro, because it has a 36% greater battery capacity.
