The Galaxy XCover Pro has a score of 81, which is a little bit better than the Xperia XZ1's global score of 78.3. The Galaxy XCover Pro body is incredibly newer, but much thicker and extremely heavier than Xperia XZ1. Xperia XZ1 has a bit better processing power than Galaxy XCover Pro. They have 4 GB of RAM and 8 cores.
Xperia XZ1 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better amount of pixels per display inch. Xperia XZ1 has a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ1 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Sony Xperia XZ1 captures clearer photos and videos than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture and a camera in the back with much less megapixels, it also counts with a way higher (4K) video quality and a lot bigger sensor capturing way higher quality videos and photos.
Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro features a much better battery duration than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 50 percent more battery capacity.
