The Samsung Galaxy Music has a score of 51.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Y 's overall score of 46.7. The Samsung Galaxy Music design is newer and a bit lighter than Galaxy Y 's, but it is also a bit thicker. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Music has 4.0.4 version while Galaxy Y has Android 2.3, offering a couple additional features and performance enhancements.

Galaxy Y counts with a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Music, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch in the display, and they both have an equal 320 x 240 resolution, the Galaxy Y also counts with a little larger screen.
