The HTC Desire 200 has a global score of 51.4, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Y's score of 46.9. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the HTC Desire 200 has the newer 4.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Y has Android 2.3, so it gives some nice extra features and optimized performance. The HTC Desire 200 design is newer than the Samsung Galaxy Y's, although it is just a bit heavier and just a little thicker.

HTC Desire 200 has a bit better CPU than Galaxy Y, although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, they both have 1 cpu cores. The HTC Desire 200 features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Y, because it has a little bit better pixels density, a larger screen and a lot higher resolution of 480 x 320px. The HTC Desire 200 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Y, because it has a lot higher video definition and a camera in the back with lot more megapixels.

HTC Desire 200 counts with much more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Y, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the HTC Desire 200 also has 3,84 GB more internal storage.
