The Galaxy Z Flip 3 has an overall score of 85.6, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge's 81.7 overall score. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Z Flip 3 has newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0. Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a much newer and somewhat thinner cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, although it's just a little heavier.
The Galaxy Note Edge features a brighter display than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a little bit greater screen density. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and 5 GB more RAM memory.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 counts with just a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 10% greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy Note Edge has a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for taking pictures and/or video in low light situations, it also counts with a camera in the back with a way better 16 mega-pixels resolution.

If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
