Comparison review
Galaxy Z Flip 5G is way better than OnePlus 8, having a global score of 92.3 against 76. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G body is a little bit thinner but a little heavier than OnePlus 8, and both were released only 4 months apart. OnePlus 8 has a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, although it has a bit smaller screen, a little worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit inferior pixel number per inch of display.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a much better storage to store more apps and games than OnePlus 8, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Z Flip 5G counts with a bit superior CPU than OnePlus 8. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM memory. OnePlus 8 features longer battery life than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because it has a 4300mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
The OnePlus 8 has a better camera than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same video frame rate and a same size camera aperture, the OnePlus 8 also has a back camera with a much higher 48 mega pixels resolution and a way bigger sensor taking way better quality videos and photos.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G costs a lot more money than OnePlus 8, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
