Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is just a bit better than the LG V50 ThinQ, getting an 88.5 score against 83.7. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a somewhat thinner phone than LG V50 ThinQ, but both of them weight 6.46oz. Both devices in this comparison review include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has newer 12 version while LG V50 ThinQ has Android 10 version, offering some extra features and increased performance.

The Galaxy Z Flip features a little better processing power than LG V50 ThinQ, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Z Flip also has a greater amount of RAM. The LG V50 ThinQ has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a higher 1440 x 3120px resolution.

The LG V50 ThinQ features a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and LG V50 ThinQ have similar cameras, because although the LG V50 ThinQ has a tinier sensor providing a worse image quality, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and a camera in the back with a 12 mega pixels, it also counts with a bigger aperture.

LG V50 ThinQ features better battery duration than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V50 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V50 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, else you can save a couple dollars and get the LG V50 ThinQ, letting go a couple features and specifications.
