Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Flip has an overall score of 88.5, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge's 81.7 overall score. Although Galaxy Z Flip is just a little heavier than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, it's thinner and also newer. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Z Flip has a more recent 12 version while Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0 version, so it provides the user some additional features and a performance increase.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a just a little higher number of pixels in each display inch. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and 5 GB more RAM memory.
Galaxy Z Flip counts with a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a camera in the back with a lot lower 12 MP resolution and a lower 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better photos and video in poorly lited environments and a larger sensor which provides a better image and video quality.
The Galaxy Z Flip features just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 10% greater battery size.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Note Edge, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Note Edge. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Z Flip, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Note Edge, letting go some features and specifications.
