Comparison review
Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a global score of 94.6, which is better than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's general score of 84.2. These phones work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Z Fold 2 has older 11 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14. Even though the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is noticeably older and noticeably heavier than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, it's body is still noticeably thinner.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a very superior processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a little bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a quite better display density.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has 256 GB more internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots greater pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos and videos in low-light environments, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a way higher resolution back camera and a way higher video resolution.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has better battery performance than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has a 22 percent more battery size.
