Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a general score of 94.6, which is better than Google Pixel 2's overall score of 81.6. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2's design is way newer and somewhat thinner, but also incredibly heavier than the Google Pixel 2. Google Pixel 2 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit better CPU than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a way bigger memory for apps and games than Google Pixel 2, because it has 128 GB more internal storage.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a way better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 67% bigger battery size. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a camera in the back with a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with a much larger back camera sensor which provides a lot higher image and video quality.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 2. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Z Fold 2, else you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 2, resigning a couple specs and features.
