Comparison review

Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a lot better than the OnePlus 8, having a score of 94.6 against 76. Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 and OnePlus 8 were released with only a few months difference, Galaxy Z Fold 2's body is thinner but also notably heavier. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a little faster processor than OnePlus 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 4 GB more RAM.

The OnePlus 8 has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per screen inch. The OnePlus 8 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a smaller sensor giving a worse image quality, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, a same size aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a back camera with a lot better resolution.

Galaxy Z Fold 2 features much more memory for apps and games than OnePlus 8, because it has 256 GB internal storage. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a little longer battery life than OnePlus 8, because it has a 5 percent more battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, otherwise you can save some money and get the OnePlus 8, resigning a couple features and specifications.
