Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a global score of 94.6, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note9's 87.1 general score. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2's design is notably newer and much thinner, but also a lot heavier than Galaxy Note9. Galaxy Note9 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a greater display pixels density.

Galaxy Note9 has a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 512 GB. Galaxy Z Fold 2 features just a little better processing power than Galaxy Note9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a higher amount of RAM.

Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and videos, and they both have a camera in the back with a 12 mega-pixels, the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with a much larger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.

Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Note9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Note9. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold 2, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note9, letting go some features and specifications.
