The Galaxy A8 Star is much better than the Samsung W2017, getting a overall score of 82.1 against 73.2. Galaxy A8 Star's body is much thinner and just a little lighter than the Samsung W2017. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version and Samsung W2017 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, providing the user a lot of extra features and optimized performance.
Samsung W2017 features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung W2017, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and more processing cores.
