The HTC Hero S is a bit better than the Samsung Wave, with a 55.8 score against 52.4. The HTC Hero S body is somewhat heavier and a little thicker than Samsung Wave. HTC Hero S comes with Android 2.3 operating system, while Samsung Wave has bada 2.0 operating system. The Samsung Wave has just a bit better screen than HTC Hero S, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit lower 800 x 480 resolution, it also counts with a just a little better screen pixels density.

The HTC Hero S features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Wave. They have the same number of cores. The HTC Hero S features a better storage for games and applications than Samsung Wave, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 32 GB, the HTC Hero S also has 4 GB internal storage capacity.

HTC Hero S counts with a battery performance that's just as good as the battery duration in Samsung Wave, although the HTC Hero S also has a 1% more battery capacity. HTC Hero S counts with a very superior camera than Samsung Wave. They have the same 1280x720 video definition, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a 5 megapixels back facing camera.

HTC Hero S and the Samsung Wave cost exactly the same, making it a simple decision.
