Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 is a little bit better than Sonim XP6, having a global score of 55.7 against 50.9. Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 is a noticeably thinner and a lot lighter cellphone than the Sonim XP6, although both of them were released only 8 months apart. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 has the previous 4.2 version while Sonim XP6 has Android 4.4.

Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 counts with a little bit better looking display than Sonim XP6, because it has a little more pixels per inch in the display, a much better 960 x 540 resolution and a really larger screen. Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Sonim XP6, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 32 GB and 16 GB internal storage.

The Sonim XP6 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 1 GB RAM memory, the Sonim XP6 also has an additional graphics processor. The Sonim XP6 features a way better battery life than Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity against 2000mAh.

The Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Sonim XP6, because it has a way higher video definition and a camera in the back with a much higher resolution.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 is also very cheap compared to the other devices, which makes it a great choice.
