The LG G2 is a lot better than the Sonim XP7, getting a 73.7 score against 52.8. The LG G2 design is notably lighter and thinner than Sonim XP7, even though it was released about 14 months before. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but LG G2 has newer 4.4.2 version and Sonim XP7 has Android 4.4 version.
