The Alcatel OneTouch Snap is just a bit better than the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc, with a general score of 54.9 against 50. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Alcatel OneTouch Snap has a newer 4.2 version while Sony Ericsson Xperia arc has Android 4.0.4 version, so it offers a couple additional features. Alcatel OneTouch Snap's design is noticeably newer, but heavier and a bit thicker than the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc.
The Alcatel OneTouch Snap counts with a bit better looking screen than Sony Ericsson Xperia arc, because it has a bit higher 960 x 540 resolution, a just a bit greater pixel density and a little bit bigger screen. The Alcatel OneTouch Snap features a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Ericsson Xperia arc, and although they both have a SD card slot that admits up to 32 GB, the Alcatel OneTouch Snap also has more internal storage.
Alcatel OneTouch Snap has a better processing power than Sony Ericsson Xperia arc, because it has more cpu cores and a better graphics processing unit running at 384 MHz. The Alcatel OneTouch Snap has superior battery performance than Sony Ericsson Xperia arc, because it has 1800mAh of battery capacity instead of 1500mAh.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc shoots slightly better photos and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Snap, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc also has a better resolution back-facing camera.
