Samsung Stratosphere has an overall score of 56.7, which is a bit better than the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V's score of 52.4. Both phones we are comparing use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Stratosphere has the previous 2.3 version while Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V has Android 4.0 version. Although it's the best in this comparison review, we must tell that it's also a just a bit thicker and way heavier cellphone.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Stratosphere, and although they both have 512 MB of RAM memory and a Single-Core CPU, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V also has an extra GPU. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V features a slightly better display than Samsung Stratosphere, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch and a bit higher resolution of 854 x 480.
The Samsung Stratosphere counts with a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the Samsung Stratosphere also has 4 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Stratosphere features improved battery lifetime than Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V, because it has a 1800mAh battery capacity against 1500mAh.
The Samsung Stratosphere's camera is very similar to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V one, both have the same video frame rate, the same video quality and a camera in the back with a 5 MP.
The Samsung Stratosphere costs a bit more money than the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
