Comparison review

The Galaxy Ace 2 is just a bit better than Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, with a 57.5 score against 52.5. Galaxy Ace 2's body is newer, lighter and thinner than the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY. These phones include Android operating system, but Galaxy Ace 2 has a newer 4.1.2 version while Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY has Android 2.3.3, so it gives a lot of extra features.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY features just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Ace 2, because although it has a just a little worse pixel density, it also counts with a little larger screen and a bit higher resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, because although it has 256 MB less RAM and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a graphics co-processor.

Galaxy Ace 2 features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the Galaxy Ace 2 also has 4 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 features a much better camera than Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY. They have the same 1280x720 video quality, the same video frame rate and the same resolution back-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY count with incredibly similar batteries.

Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Galaxy Ace 2 is also a bargain compared to the other devices.
