The Galaxy Note 3 is a lot better than Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, getting a 79.5 score against 52.5. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 3 has a more recent 5.0 version while Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY has Android 2.3.3, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features.
