The Alcatel Insight has a score of 58.9, which is just a bit better than the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray's global score of 54.3. Although Alcatel Insight is extremely newer than Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, it's just a little thicker and a lot heavier. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS, but Alcatel Insight has 9.0 Pie version while Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray has Android 4.0.

Alcatel Insight features a quite superior performance than Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray counts with a way better display than Alcatel Insight, because although it has a bit lower 854 x 480 pixels resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a better display density.

Alcatel Insight has much more storage to install games and applications than Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Alcatel Insight also has 16 GB internal memory capacity. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray captures slightly better pictures and videos than Alcatel Insight, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray also has a lot more mega pixels back facing camera.

Alcatel Insight counts with a way better battery duration than Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, because it has 2200mAh of battery capacity against 1500mAh.
