Although Galaxy S7 is a lot heavier than Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, it's somewhat thinner and much newer. Samsung Galaxy S7 counts with a better hardware performance than Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 3,5 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores.

The Galaxy S7 features a much more vibrant display than Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, because it has a much bigger display, a lot higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a much better screen pixels density. Galaxy S7 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a much better resolution camera in the back.
