Xperia 1 II has a general score of 91, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy A12's 80.3 overall score. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 II has newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version. Even though Xperia 1 II and the Samsung Galaxy A12 were only released 7 months apart, Xperia 1 II is thinner and somewhat lighter.
The Xperia 1 II has a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia 1 II also has a way greater number of pixels per screen inch and a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px.
