Comparison review

Xperia 1 III is much better than the Google Pixel 2, getting a 93.3 score against 81.6. Xperia 1 III's design is incredibly newer, but just a little thicker and incredibly heavier than the Google Pixel 2. Xperia 1 III counts with just a little better performance than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has more RAM memory.

The Xperia 1 III counts with a more vivid screen than Google Pixel 2, because it has a larger display, a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a better pixel count in each display inch. The Sony Xperia 1 III captures much clearer photographs and videos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a lower video resolution and a back camera with a lower 12 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture for better low-light photos and videos and a much bigger sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality.

The Sony Xperia 1 III features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 2, because it has 256 GB internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. Xperia 1 III features a much longer battery performance than Google Pixel 2, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.

Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia 1 III, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 2, resigning some specs and features.
