Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is a lot better than the LG V20's score of 77. The Xperia 1 III construction is newer than LG V20's, but it is a bit thicker and a bit heavier. The Xperia 1 III has just a little better hardware performance than LG V20, because it has more RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores.
The Xperia 1 III counts with a slightly better looking display than LG V20, because it has a little larger display, a bit better pixels density and a higher 1644 x 3840 resolution. The Xperia 1 III counts with a bit better camera than LG V20, because although it has a much lower 12 megapixels resolution camera and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor which gives a lot better photo and video quality and a larger aperture.
Sony Xperia 1 III has a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than LG V20, because although it has an external memory card slot that admits 976 GB smaller, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Xperia 1 III features a very superior battery duration than LG V20, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG V20. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia 1 III, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG V20, resigning some specifications.
