Xperia 1 III's construction is noticeably newer and thinner than Motorola Droid Turbo's, although it's just a bit heavier. These phones come with Android OS, but Xperia 1 III has 11 version and Motorola Droid Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version.

Xperia 1 III counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola Droid Turbo, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more RAM and a greater number of faster cores. Motorola Droid Turbo counts with a little sharper display than Xperia 1 III, although it has a bit lower display pixels density, a much smaller screen and a much lower 2560 x 1440 resolution.
