Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 III is better than Motorola Edge 50, having a global score of 93.3 against 81.2. Even being the best we are comparing here, the Sony Xperia 1 III is a way older, a bit thicker and just a bit heavier device than the Motorola Edge 50. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia 1 III has the older 11 version and Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14.
Xperia 1 III features a way better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 4 GB more RAM memory. Motorola Edge 50 counts with a bit better screen than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a lot worse display pixel density and a way lower 1220 x 2712 resolution, it also counts with a quite larger display.
The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1 TB. The Motorola Edge 50 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Xperia 1 III, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking pictures or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video resolution, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Motorola Edge 50 features a bit superior battery duration than Xperia 1 III, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
