Comparison review

The Xperia 1 III is much better than the Moto G Stylus, getting a 93.3 score against 79.7. Xperia 1 III's design is newer, somewhat thinner and a bit lighter than Moto G Stylus. These devices come with the same Android 11 OS, so both of them should provide the user identical operating system features.

The Sony Xperia 1 III has a little better performance than Moto G Stylus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has more RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a sharper display than Motorola Moto G Stylus, because it has a way higher pixel amount per inch of screen, a bit larger display and a much higher 1644 x 3840px resolution.

The Motorola Moto G Stylus has a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has lower video frame rates and a tinier camera sensor giving a lower image quality, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and a same size camera aperture, the Motorola Moto G Stylus also counts with a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.

Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Moto G Stylus, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage. Sony Xperia 1 III features just a bit better battery lifetime than Motorola Moto G Stylus, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G Stylus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G Stylus. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Moto G Stylus, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
