Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A80, getting a 93.3 score against 84.9. The Xperia 1 III body is noticeably newer, somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Samsung Galaxy A80. Xperia 1 III features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A80, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Xperia 1 III features a sharper display than Galaxy A80, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better pixels count per inch in the display and a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution. Xperia 1 III counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A80, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a much worse resolution, it also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality photos and videos and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and videos.
