The Sony Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy M31's score of 86.5. These devices use the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't see any differences regarding OS features. The Sony Xperia 1 III is a newer phone, and it is also a bit lighter and just a bit thinner than the Galaxy M31.
