Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is better than Sony Xperia XZ3's 79.6 general score. The Xperia 1 III design is newer, somewhat thinner and a little lighter than Sony Xperia XZ3. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Xperia 1 III has older 11 version and Sony Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Xperia 1 III counts with a little faster processor than Sony Xperia XZ3, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a greater amount of RAM. Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a screen that's just as good as Xperia 1 III's screen, although the Sony Xperia XZ3 has a bit lower 1440 x 2880 resolution, a little smaller display and a quite worse pixels density.
Xperia 1 III counts with a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has more internal storage and a SD card slot that admits up to 1 TB. The Sony Xperia 1 III has better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.
Xperia 1 III counts with a slightly better camera than Xperia XZ3, because although it has a way less megapixels resolution camera in the back and a worse (4K) video definition, it also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality and a larger camera aperture.
Xperia 1 III costs a lot more than the Sony Xperia XZ3, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
