Comparison review
The Xperia 1 V is a little bit better than the OnePlus 8, having a global score of 82.7 against 76. Xperia 1 V's construction is way newer, but just a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker than OnePlus 8. OnePlus 8 has a lot better processing power than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The OnePlus 8 features a slightly better looking display than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has a lot worse display pixel density and a way worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, they both have a screen with the same size. Xperia 1 V features a much better storage to install games and applications than OnePlus 8, because it has more internal storage capacity.
Sony Xperia 1 V shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than OnePlus 8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a 48 MP resolution back facing camera, the Sony Xperia 1 V also counts with higher 120 frames per second video frame rate and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a much better image and video quality.
Xperia 1 V has longer battery lifetime than OnePlus 8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4300mAh.
