Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31s is a bit better than the Sony Xperia 1 V, with an 88 score against 82.7. The Samsung Galaxy M31s is a much older, just a little heavier and thicker cellphone than Sony Xperia 1 V. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy M31s has the older 11 version and Sony Xperia 1 V has Android 13.
Xperia 1 V has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M31s, and although they both have a same size display, the Xperia 1 V also has a way better pixel number per inch of screen and a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. The Galaxy M31s features a really superior performance than Xperia 1 V, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a little bit better memory to install applications and games than Sony Xperia 1 V, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB. The Xperia 1 V counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and videos in low light situations and a back facing camera with a lot worse 48 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a much bigger camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photographs.
Galaxy M31s counts with improved battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1 V, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
