Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31 is a little bit better than the Xperia 1 VI, getting a score of 86.5 against 83.2. Both phones in our current comparison have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has the previous 11 version while Xperia 1 VI has Android 14 version. Galaxy M31 has a lot better processing power than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Xperia 1 VI counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M31, because it has a much higher pixels number per screen inch, a quite larger display and a much higher 1644 x 3840px resolution. Xperia 1 VI takes clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a lot lower resolution back-facing camera and a tinier camera aperture which is not good for capturing photos in low light situations, it also counts with a larger camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photos.
Sony Xperia 1 VI has a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31, because it has 256 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot that holds up to 1 TB. Galaxy M31 counts with greater battery duration than Xperia 1 VI, because it has a 20% more battery capacity.
