Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 8 has a score of 85, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia 1's score of 82.6. Although the Apple iPhone 8 is older than Sony Xperia 1, it's design is just a little thinner and somewhat lighter. The Xperia 1 features a better screen than Apple iPhone 8, because although it has much lower brightness, it also counts with a much bigger screen, a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a way greater display density.
The iPhone 8 features a bit better CPU than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and an inferior number of slower cores, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU. Xperia 1 has just a bit more storage to install games and applications than iPhone 8, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Xperia 1 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 8, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity instead of 1821mAh. IPhone 8 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller camera sensor and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos, and they both have the same video quality and a camera in the back with a 12 mega pixels, the iPhone 8 also counts with better video frame rates.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Apple iPhone 8 is also cheaper, which makes it a very good choice.
