Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 5 has an overall score of 84.7, which is slightly better than Xperia 1's 82.6 score. Asus ROG Phone 5 is a newer device than the Xperia 1, although it is a lot thicker and way heavier. Xperia 1 counts with just a bit better display than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has way more opaque screen and a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a lot greater pixels amount per display inch.
The Xperia 1 counts with much more memory to install games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia 1 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Asus ROG Phone 5 features a CPU that is very similar to the processor in Sony Xperia 1, and although the Asus ROG Phone 5 has a larger amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Asus ROG Phone 5 has a much better camera than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light images and videos, it also counts with a way more mega-pixels back facing camera, a much larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a way better image and video quality and a way higher video quality.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a superior battery life than Sony Xperia 1, because it has an 80% larger battery capacity.
