Sony Xperia 1 is a little bit better than the Google Pixel XL, having an 82.6 score against 81.3. Sony Xperia 1's design is incredibly newer and a bit thinner than Google Pixel XL's, although it is a little heavier. Xperia 1 features a brighter display than Google Pixel XL, because it has a higher 1644 x 3840 resolution, a bigger display and a little bit greater pixels quantity in each inch of display.
Xperia 1 features a little faster processing unit than Google Pixel XL, because it has 2 GB more RAM and more cpu cores. Google Pixel XL has a camera that is just as good as the Sony Xperia 1 one, because although the Google Pixel XL has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a camera with more mega-pixels, higher 30 frames per second video frame rates and a larger sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures.
The Xperia 1 counts with a much bigger storage for applications and games than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. Google Pixel XL has just a little bit longer battery life than Xperia 1, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity.
The Xperia 1 costs a little more than Google Pixel XL, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
