Comparison review

The Xperia 1 is a little bit better than the LG V30, getting an 82.6 score against 79.1. The Xperia 1 construction is newer, but just a little thicker and somewhat heavier than LG V30. Xperia 1 counts with a little bit better looking screen than LG V30, because it has a little higher amount of pixels per inch of screen, a better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a little bit larger display.

Xperia 1 counts with just a bit better processing power than LG V30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 1 also has 2 GB more RAM. The LG V30 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor, and they both have a same size aperture and the same video quality, the LG V30 also counts with better video frame rate and a way higher resolution back camera.

The LG V30 counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xperia 1 and LG V30 have incredibly similar battery durations, although the LG V30 has a 1 percent lower battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V30. If you want to save some money, you can get the LG V30, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
