Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 is a little bit better than the OnePlus 9 Pro, with a general score of 82.6 against 76.6. Sony Xperia 1's construction is a bit thinner and just a bit lighter than the OnePlus 9 Pro, although it was released a bit more more than a year before. The OnePlus 9 Pro counts with a processing unit that is very similar to Sony Xperia 1's processing unit, and although the OnePlus 9 Pro has 2 GB more RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xperia 1 has a bit better looking display than OnePlus 9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little greater display pixel density and a slightly better 1644 x 3840 resolution. The OnePlus 9 Pro captures much better photos and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos and video, it also counts with a way better video quality, a way better 48 MP resolution camera in the back and a way larger camera sensor which provides a lot higher image and video quality.
Sony Xperia 1 has a much better storage capacity for apps and games than OnePlus 9 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. The OnePlus 9 Pro features superior battery life than Xperia 1, because it has a 35% more battery size.
The Xperia 1 costs a little more than the OnePlus 9 Pro, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
