Comparison review

Sony Xperia 1 is slightly better than Galaxy Note Edge, with an 82.6 score against 81.7. Although the Sony Xperia 1 is a little bit heavier than the Galaxy Note Edge, it's a little bit thinner and also incredibly newer. The Xperia 1 has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 3 GB more RAM and a higher number of cores.

The Galaxy Note Edge features a bit more vivid display than Sony Xperia 1, although it has a just a little worse pixel amount per inch of screen, a much lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a little bit smaller display. The Galaxy Note Edge shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a lot tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and a same size camera sensor, the Galaxy Note Edge also counts with a much more mega pixels camera and faster video frame rates.

The Sony Xperia 1 features a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Sony Xperia 1 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has an 11 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Note Edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note Edge. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy Note Edge, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
