Xperia 10 III has a general score of 83.7, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A12's 80.3 overall score. Xperia 10 III is a a little bit thinner and lighter device than Samsung Galaxy A12, even though both of them were released only a couple months apart. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 10 III has a newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version.

Sony Xperia 10 III counts with a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixels density and a way higher 1080 x 2520 resolution. Xperia 10 III counts with a better memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB, the Xperia 10 III also has 128 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 has just a bit better hardware performance than Xperia 10 III, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Galaxy A12 features a bit better battery duration than Sony Xperia 10 III, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh. Samsung Galaxy A12 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Xperia 10 III, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for taking photographs or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
