Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 has a score of 79.1, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia 10 Plus's 75.4 global score. Xperia XZ2's design is older, notably thicker and a little heavier than the Sony Xperia 10 Plus. The Xperia XZ2 features a little sharper display than Sony Xperia 10 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little worse 1080 x 2160 resolution, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of screen.
The Xperia XZ2 features a bit faster processing unit than Xperia 10 Plus. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM. Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a better camera than Xperia 10 Plus, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also counts with a camera in the back with a way higher 19 megapixels resolution, faster video frame rates and a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
The Xperia 10 Plus counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ2, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xperia 10 Plus also has an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ2 features a bit superior battery duration than Sony Xperia 10 Plus, because it has a 6% greater battery capacity.
