Comparison review
The Xperia 5 II is better than Huawei P20, having a overall score of 87.2 against 78.1. Xperia 5 II's body is notably newer and just a little lighter, but also just a little thicker than Huawei P20. The Sony Xperia 5 II features just a bit better performance than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia 5 II features a slightly better display than Huawei P20, because it has a quite higher screen pixels density, a little bigger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels. Sony Xperia 5 II features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Sony Xperia 5 II has superior battery lifetime than Huawei P20, because it has an 18% larger battery size. The Sony Xperia 5 II has just a bit better camera than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same resolution camera in the back, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has better video frame rate, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing way higher quality videos and photographs and a bigger aperture.
Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P20. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Huawei P20, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
