Comparison review

The Xperia 5 II is just a bit better than LG V50 ThinQ, with a overall score of 87.2 against 83.7. The Xperia 5 II body is newer, lighter and a bit thinner than LG V50 ThinQ. The LG V50 ThinQ features just a bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a little bit better screen pixels density and a better 1440 x 3120px resolution.

LG V50 ThinQ's processor is very similar to the processing unit in Sony Xperia 5 II, and although the LG V50 ThinQ has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. LG V50 ThinQ counts with a better storage for applications and games than Xperia 5 II, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The LG V50 ThinQ's battery duration is just as good as the Xperia 5 II one. Xperia 5 II has just a bit better camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a 12 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, the Xperia 5 II also counts with better 120 frames per second video frame rate and a way bigger camera sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and pictures.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V50 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V50 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5 II, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the LG V50 ThinQ, letting go some specs and features.
