Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 5 II is slightly better than the Moto G Stylus, with an 87.2 score against 79.7. Sony Xperia 5 II is a somewhat lighter and thinner phone than Moto G Stylus, even when both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. Sony Xperia 5 II has a bit superior processing unit than Moto G Stylus, and although they both have 8 cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

The Xperia 5 II counts with a little more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G Stylus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a just a little greater pixels number per inch of screen. The Sony Xperia 5 II has just a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Moto G Stylus, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1000 GB.

The Moto G Stylus's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery duration in Sony Xperia 5 II. Motorola Moto G Stylus shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has worse video frame rate and a tinier back camera sensor taking worse quality pictures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a same size aperture, the Motorola Moto G Stylus also counts with a way more MP back-facing camera.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G Stylus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G Stylus. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia 5 II, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto G Stylus, letting go a couple specs and features.
