Comparison review
Sony Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy M31's 86.5 score. Although Sony Xperia 5 II and the Samsung Galaxy M31 were only released with a couple of months difference, Sony Xperia 5 II is lighter and thinner. The Xperia 5 II features a little better performance than Galaxy M31, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 5 II also has more RAM.
Galaxy M31 counts with a screen that is just as good as the display in Xperia 5 II, because although the Galaxy M31 has a little bit inferior pixels number in each display inch and a little bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little bit bigger display. The Xperia 5 II features a much greater storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M31, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a much better battery duration than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a 50% more battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy M31 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has worse video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light captures, and they both have a 0.59 inches back-facing camera sensor and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a way better resolution camera in the back.
