The Sony Xperia 5 II is better than the Xperia XZ1, having a general score of 87.2 against 78.3. The Sony Xperia 5 II design is much newer than Xperia XZ1's, although it's just a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker. Xperia 5 II has a little more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a quite better display pixels density, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a bigger display.

The Xperia 5 II has a little bit better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a SD memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Sony Xperia 5 II counts with just a bit better performance than Sony Xperia XZ1, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has 4 GB more RAM.

Sony Xperia 5 II has a much better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a 48% more battery capacity.
